Bimbi Park is in Cape Otway, the center of the Great Ocean Road and the Great Ocean Walk, an area of magnificent forests, beaches, secluded bays, and spectacular coastline. It is sheltered among tall manna gums far away from the wearing noise of towns and traffic.Camping and Caravaning
Accommodation to suit all budgets from campsites, powered campsites, on-site vans, bunk rooms, standard and deluxe cabins. All set in sheltered manna gum woodland.

Campfires are permitted, however, during the summer months, fires cannot be lit on total fire ban days. Bimbi Park supplies portable fireplaces and there is a modern amenities block with laundry facilities. Essential groceries, drinks and ice-creams are available from the kiosk.

Directions

FROM APOLLO BAY - Drive through Apollo Bay heading west towards the 12 Apostles. At approximately 20km you'll see a sign that says "Cape Otway Lightstation" "Cape Otway" and “Bimbi Park (Cape Otway Caravan Park)” next left. Turn left and drive for about 7km where you'll see “Bimbi Park (Cape Otway Caravan Park)” next right. Travel for about 1 Km and you'll see Bimbi Park (Cape Otway Caravan Park) on the left.
FROM COLAC - From the Princess Hwy turn south on Corangamite st (C155), travel about 40km going through Gellibrand to Ferguson. At the T intersection turn right towards Lavers Hill (aproximatly 16km).
FROM LAVERS HILL – Turn south the Great Ocean Road towards Apollo Bay (from Colac its left from the 12 Apostles it’s right). At about 26km you’ll see "Cape Otway Lightstation" "Cape Otway" and Bimbi Park (Cape Otway Caravan Park) next right. Turn right and drive for about 7km where you'll see Bimbi Park (Cape Otway Caravan Park) next right. Travel for about 1 Km and you'll see Bimbi Park (Cape Otway Caravan Park) on the left.

Booking Changes or Cancellations by Bimbi Park
We may cancel bookings within 14 days of confirmation, with a full refund including booking fees.

Onsite Safety & Environment
Trees & Nature Hazards
You’re camping in a natural environment. Trees may drop branches at any time. Guests accept this risk by staying with us. Please avoid setting up directly under large branches.
Snakes
Active in warmer months. Stay on paths, don’t disturb them. If bitten, call 000 immediately and inform park staff.
Campfires
Only permitted in fire bins (not on the ground). Not allowed on Total Fire Ban days. Fire bins are free to use and available at the kiosk. Firewood available to purchase or BYO.

Water & Amenities
Water Supply
Our water comes from rain and a spring. It should be boiled before drinking. UV-treated drinking water is available at the tap outside the kiosk.
Showers
To save water, token-operated shower timers are installed in shared amenities. $1 per token = 3 minutes. Some will be given to you free of charge at check in more available from reception or the token machine. Cabins have free-use showers.

Behaviour & Conduct
Alcohol
We’re licensed to sell limited alcohol to guests only. Max 6 beers/mixed drinks or 2 bottles of wine per transaction. No alcohol in the playground. Offensive behaviour or intoxication is not tolerated.
Noise
Please keep noise to a minimum. Quiet time is 10 pm. Breaches may lead to eviction without refund.
Generators
Not permitted. Solar setups are welcome.

Pets & Wildlife
Pets
All pets must be approved by management before check-in. Must be leashed at all times. Read our full Pet Policy.
Bins, Chickens & Goats
Use the correct bins (general, recycling, food scraps). Guests may feed scraps to chickens and goats—please do not chase or handle animals. We also have animal feed at reception for the cows and alpacas.

Check-in / Check-out
•Check-in: from 12 midday on sites and 3 pm in accommodation.
•Check-out: by 10 am
Late arrival? We’ll have a map and details at reception with your name on. A courtesy phone is also available at the office if you need any assistance.
Cabin Cleanliness
Please leave cabins neat and tidy. Wash, dry, and put away dishes. Return any moved furniture. Excessive mess may incur a cleaning fee.
Smoking
No smoking in any buildings or accommodation. Dispose of butts appropriately.
Visitors
All visitors must check in at the office.
Facilities
Please keep amenities and shared spaces clean. Report any maintenance issues to reception.

Children & Safety
•Children must be supervised at all times.
•Children under 8 must be accompanied in amenities.
•Helmets (AS/NZ 2063:2008) must be worn when using bikes/scooters.
•No children under 9 on top bunks (AS/NZ 4220:2003).

Vehicles
•Speed limit: 5 km/h throughout the park
•One car per site unless authorised
•Visitors must park in the designated area

Caravans, Gas & Fire Safety
•Caravans/motorhomes must have working smoke alarms.
•All LPG bottles must meet safety regulations.
•It’s the guest’s responsibility to ensure compliance.
